Nightrider

So we decided to head to Hoodoo for their opening night of night riding. It was epic. Fun cliffs with pillowy soft landing were seemingly everywhere and for some reason nobody had hit them. Curtis Csizek was sending it, well pretty much everyone was sending it.

Sooooo much fun.

Christmas Shred

The weather gods decided to shine on us this Christmas dumping 20+ inches overnight and opening up to near bluebird conditions. Quality riding was to be found all over the hill especially on the second day of Outback being open. I couldn't have asked for a better present.

Later in the day conditions began to deteriorate, depositing even more fluffy stuff on top of the bottomless powder we already have.

Tonight at 8p.m. Volcom's new TV show premieres on Fuel TV. The show features Volcom team rider and Bend local Curtis Ciszek and was shot and edited by our very own Jake Price. Jake is having a party at his house to celebrate the premier.

Hitting rails in the powder

Mt. Bachelor is kicking off this year's Oregon Cup with a rail jam under the lights at West Village lodge. What was the Mt Dew series in previous years is now revamped and boasts a $2000 overall first prize. The rail jam is offering $500 for the win in mens snowboard and ski divisions. Women ski and snowboarding combined will split $500 between first and second.

So go win some of your season pass money back this Saturday.
